Ned Nickerson Scrapbook Exhibit

We are happy to celebrate the opening of our Ned Nickerson Scrapbook Exhibit at the Bourne Historic Center on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 7:00pm. Join us for a casual gathering and discussion with Mary Sicchio, curator of the exhibit. Light refreshments will be served.

Colonial Day at Aptucxet
July 22, 2017 –
Celebrate Bourne’s Colonial history at the Aptucxet Trading Post with re-enactments of Colonial & Militia groups throughout the day. Come see the Colonial Gardens in full bloom and take a tour of the historical Aptucxet Trading Post, established in 1627. Colonial crafts and activities and get some homemade blueberry pie and vanilla ice cream!

Pilgrim Progress Morning Service
July 23, 2017 –
Celebrate Bourne’s colonial history with this historical re-enactment of a 1627 Pilgrim church service performed by the Pilgrim Progress Players of Plymouth. The service will include psalm singing, a brief history and a "sermon" taken from the notes of John Robinson, pastor of the Pilgrims. Service begins at 7:30 am with light refreshments following.

Bourne Historical Society Aptucxet Museum Complex is open Memorial Day Weekend through Columbus Day Weekend.

The Bourne Historical Society, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization. The charge for admission to the Aptucxet Museum Complex:

Special rates are available for students and pre-arranged group tours 508-759-8167. We have a turnaround for buses to drop visitors off at the Trading Post, with a parking area near the Trading Post Gift Shop.
